The Wordforge is live. But I hear you say, ‘Uh… what’s the WordForge?”
The Wordforge is my (admittedly needs work) attempt at a podcast. Yes, your truly is once a week recording his voice in an attempt to… I don’t know. But I’m doing it anyways. Right now, the Wordforge is mostly about a little non fiction book I published called “You wrote it!” which is basically a book of advice for newbie self-publishers. I see and continue to see a lot of the same questions over and over again in various places. Sometimes people are helpful, sometimes they ignore the questions, and sometimes… well it’s the Internet, and you know how people can be when they are cloaked in some anonymous name.
So the Wordforge is only two episodes, so far, but I’ll be going through the book, some of my own experiences, and the like. Then I’ll be diving into some of the lore and backstory of the world of Alos, where the Forgemaster is set, and where future books I’ve been plotting out are set. And I’ll go from there.
In other news:
- I did not update the blog monthly. <—This seems to be a reoccurring theme with me. Sorry!
- I have changed up my advertising, and as a result, am having my best months ever when it comes to sales.
- Book three is deep in rewrites. I’ve trimmed some things, changed some others, all in the name of making the final book in this series all that much better. I hope you think it will be worth the wait.
Excited to read your book You Wrote it! I’m in the middle of writing my first book and have just gotten bejungled in my thoughts. Your book and website here has been a nice save for me. I see our style is similar. Thank you!
Glad to hear it! I hoped it made some kind of sense for you.
